Hi, thanks for stopping by to read the blurb.
I was born in Siberia (no, not cold at all) but my mind works in its mysterious celtic ways as I moved here when I was a teenager and I'm keeping my heart to myself.
Trained at LAMDA.
Recent acting work: lead role of Torvald in 'A Doll's House' at CockPit Theatre (produced by Xameleon Theatre), Pavel in 'Born to Run' dir. by Scott Graham (BFI, Creative Scotland, BBC Films) and McMafia.
In 2015 I shot my debut film, a family drama Mama - St. Sebastian (27min). Me and Juja Dobrachkous, a London-based writer, adapted the script from a short story and shot the film on location in St. Petersburg. The film went on to win the Best Script Award at the St. Anne's Film Festival in Moscow and Masters of Emotions prize at Lublin Film Festival
in Poland. Overall, it was screened at over 25 film festivals including the prestigious London Short Film Festival.
I was recently hired to direct a short film "Once upon a time in Rezekne" in Latvia. It'll be premiered at a Short Film Festival 'Open Place' in 2019.
My wildest maddest dream is to play John Lennon and Dostoevskiy in the same film. Ok, it can be separate films, I'm fine with that. Spotlight.
Have a smashing day!
